CJVWS lined up some really cool freebies for anyone who brings out a racer or show car, so don't miss out. I'm really looking forward to seeing all the racers come out and fight for some cash.

We visited the track today and things are all lined up!
The track was busy being the first nice Spring open day. The track managers are excited about us hosting our new show here. See everyone next Sunday.
If anyone wants to camp, we will be camping Saturday night at a CJVWS members house close by. PM me for details.

For anyone headed up early the Five Acres Flea Market is nearby and supposed to be really good. It's only 15 minutes from Island Dragway. Grab a coffee and a few goodies before swinging by the track when the gates open at 11 am.
Also, a lot of folks asked on our FB page so I wanted to post this here... Pets are allowed as long as they are not left unattended and have a fixed leash (not a retractable type).

What a great show! A hundred or more VW's and Corvairs on one side on the grass, and all kinds of fabulous dragsters smoking and roaring on the other side, beautiful weather, laid back atmosphere, a biplane and a crop duster plane buzzing overhead, just fantastic all around. A few hiccups, but nothing we can't fix for next time. Thanks to the club members that came up with this venue and did all the leg work to set it up.
