I don’t have a cell phone. No need.

The wife and kid have theirs: the newest iPhones. Makes for a pricey Christmas, don’t you know. If I need a cell phone, I can borrow the wife’s, which I’ve done maybe twice in the past five years.

Now, if I ever drive the bug, cross country, I’ll bring along a cell phone Wink .

Same thing happened to me today! Went to the McD's close to my house, the pickup window the guy giving me the food said he loved my car then told a couple other employees to check it out. Very Happy

I asked my sister if she wanted to take the car today. She just jumped right in with my nephew. She has been driving a clutch almost as long as I have. No worries about her skills...

They have been a bit more prevalent lately-- I'm not sure why. Yesterday a guy driving a Honda in front of me reached out the window and gave me a thumbs up.
Then at the drive thru, the lady at the window goes "Why, that's one of them old timey volkswagens!" Razz

Took a little ride up the the traveling Vietnam veterans memorial wall. 58,000 names there. Once you see it all layed out you realize the magnitude.

Took the wife to Subway in the Bug (she rarely gets in it). The day is in the low seventies (Fahrenheit). In a few days, we’ll be up to 104 F, so today was a good opportunity to drive the bug without turning on the air-conditioning (opening the wings, I mean).

Running around yesterday on backroads near home and found this. He was already dead when I got there. Don’t know what he is other than a big snake, do you?
