I was trying to find out the stock connecting rod length(s) for the 1200 CC 36 HP & 40 HP engines. Namely, for the standard VW 1200 series, Type 1, U.S. model sedan.

Can someone help with this?

Thanks! John

Wonderful - thanks. I was coming up with 5.120" for the 40 HP.

Do you know what the material is?

There are two 1200 77MM pistons engines. One with 22MM and the other 20MM wrist pins.
