Hello everyone,
My friends and I love primitive camping in our VW buses. We've been to Vermont, New York and recently Monroe County in the Poconos because it is only 2 hours away. We just found out as of March 1st we can't have camp fires in Monroe County due to a 900 acre forest fire last season.
My question to all is where else can we primitive camp that's around 2 hours away from the Jersey Shore and have camp fires and be away from other people
Thank you everyone
Tom

I was going to say, "any national forest", but I don't know the area.
