Time to make your plans for the Deutsche Classic, Reading, PA, 13th annual premier all German Automotive event including vintage, classic and late model Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche as well as the unique German orphan and micro cars. German motorcycles are welcome. Saturday July 8th at Oley Fairgrounds (26 Jefferson Street, Oley, PA 19547). Swap meet, car show, car corral, live music, Ladies in Jeans contest with cash prizes and tire toss competition with $600 tire vouchers. Individually designed, hand crafted, class specific show car awards incorporating vintage parts & automobilia. A la carte food included with $17 admission (12 and under free). Show car entry $25 includes food. An all-family event. Rain or Shine 8:00am – 4:00pm. Friday night onsite camping available. Directions: US-222 to Route 73 East. This show is getting closer. Make plans to be there!
Not sure if I'll be able to make it, even though I'd love to. It's always a really great show, with some truly rare vehicles to check out.

We had a great time at the show. Lots of nice VWs and other German cars were there and the weather was nice all day. Here are a few photos, more are in my gallery.
Friday afternoon drive was mostly wet, till we go to NY.
I really liked this all original '58 bug.

Custom made awards were the nicest I've ever seen!
I won the Furthest Driven award! It is a bus speedometer with nice patina. It was well worth the 345 miles to get there.
