That bug looks good with a rack. Right at home. Ready for anything. I think this build is what Ferdinand had in mind when he dreamt of a peoples car.

With this color I like the white wheels too. (Disclaimer: I may be biased about white wheels). Orange Bug

Thanks vanram. It looks brown most of the time but when you get it in the right sun it does look burgundy.

Still think about your roadtrip thread. I am planning one of my own next year sometime. thinking of going to a mexican vocho show with my club in mexico. (they go every year in the spring)

I had a great time, and yeah, road trips are great, especially in good weather w/a Bug running like a top. A road trip to Mexico w/a bunch of other VDubs sounds like a blast!

Yeah, but once you get down to Mexico, your bug is just another bug of thousands. Brazil is worse. They have bugs coming out the ying-yang. If you were to play "Slug-bug" while on a road trip, you'd be beaten to shit in just a few miles.

However, they seem to love them as much, if not more, than we do, even if all your relatives own one, too.

Yeah they love them some Vocho. I have a few buddies with contacts in tijuana and a few members have sent their cars down there to be worked on. Not the BEST quality of work but pretty good and for an awesome price. (compared to SFbay area)
