The engine is back together, almost. I have to put the sheet metal and carburetors on.
I had a slight delay because I dropped one of the caps that sit on the valves.
Dropped in the grass.
Note to self, never pull the workbench out into the sunshine to enjoy building an engine, always do this over a clean floor.
Half of the pan is painted, then it rained. So under the shed until the sun comes back.
Pressure washed the body and pulled the rats nest from underneath. Ready for reassembly with the new wiring harness.

I started the engine for the first time since the rebuild. It is running way lean so I shut it down before I burned it to the ground. I pulled the carbs to find it looks like someone was making grits in the fuel tank. The Dellortos are off and on the way to the sonic tub!

Armed with wire strippers, crimpers, zip ties, and a can of wasp killer I am now ready to start the new wiring harness.
