| I have a chassis in almost excellent condition, doesn't have hole for master cylinder and has bolts for wing nuts instead of rails for the seats; I can't find the correct year for this, somebody can help me? |

Definitely a Standard Beetle...cable brakes, full crashbox transaxle, and bolt down seat frames |

a 6 digit VIN beginning with 150*** = March 1950. Is an early standard... nice.
Maybe it's the pan to the 1950 standard body, I had placed on a later pan.
