Rear armrest: how is it fastened in place?

Mine has come adrift of its moorings and goes up when I raise the bench, causing a lot of bad language. Something at the front is come undone and I can't make out what. What does a correctly set up one look like?

If this is the passenger rear armrest mounted to the side wall the front slides into a slot hidden behind the armrest. The rear has a screw just at the edge of the armrest. Likely some or all of this has come undone. I'd remove the screw then the armrest should slide rearward off of the slot. See what is going on then.
