Does anyone know if the late model (1962-up) fuel tap will fit the early tanks?

I'm looking to remove the reserve valve as the new E10 fuel is killing the rubber seal

You can make the tap valve seal out of cork to solve that.

To answer yer question . . . YES.
I, like 60ragtop, removed the "fuel tap" from my '57 and replaced it with the pick-up and filter screen from a later tank.
