Where can I get a roof rack for 1974 412. Variant/wagon

I'm told the racks for this model are specific to the model and Year.
Is this the case? Can a beetle or bus rack be easily adapted to fit?

Doubtful.

Very different shaped and sized cars. But....look in the type 3 forum. At one time there were a couple of people who built custom roof racks.
