Hello rebuilding a 59 ghia that was basically a shell and fitted up steering column etc last night.
I had picked up some race trim seats off ebay with the frames all looked straight forward, put them in the car to get a feel for the driving position and it seemed pretty off.

Seat height just seems way too high, anyone experience this ?

I moved seat forward enough to feel like I could grab the gear stick comfortably and it feels like I am under the steering wheel (not too bad just a little off)

I can cut down and weld the frames an inch or so lower for seat height but just thought i would check first, I know they are designed for a bug just wondered any experience with a ghia

thanks
Paul.
