What are size of bolts..
https://zzperformance.com/ecotec/oem-flywheel-bolts.html
Seems to me first pass is 39 ft-lbs... Second pass additional 25°... According this this web site...

I think you need a stronger clutch. That got really hot. _________________ Go outside and do something. |

you think that would cause it to sheer flywheel bolts ? |

it certainly didn't help. I would have the flywheel resurfaced and install a high HP clutch kit. And use quality hardware. with the right setup, there is no reason for this to be happening. Youre not tryng to do burnouts with 33' tires are you?
let see some photos of what you're working with, to better help. _________________ Go outside and do something. |

That 39Ft*Lbs of torque figure can't be a stand alone figure. Either it is wrong or there is a torque angle following it up as others have suggested.
That flywheel got so hot I would check it over carefully. You may find surface cracks on it. Small ones radiating from the center to the perimeter shouldn't be an issue, but any that are circular can be the death of a flywheel. If all looks ok, you can just as easy resurface it. Shouldn't cost more than $20 at any automotive machine shop worth thier name. _________________ 1800 Type 4 Berrien 295

Also flywheel bolt are 'ONE TIME' only, ... "Torque to yield" ... Do not reuse as the are stretched and torque values are skewed if trying to reuse....

I also use a kenedy stage 2 with a kush lock disc.
My had some slipping issues and it was the hyd slave cly. not releasing completely.
It had a little bind so I reworked the mounting bracket.
Works good now.
