Unstable Idle

I have a 1641 dual port with a empi 30 pict-1 carb. Im not sure if its the choke or if the carb itself has leaks inside, but the idle will go between 1k-1500 rpms and i cant get it stablize. If anyone has any insight would be very appreciated.

Set your idle speed down to ~800rpm and see if that allows it to idle steady.

What distributor do you have installed and how worn is it?

I dont remember the brand it is, but it is a eletronic distributor.
