I may be wrong, but I think some aftermarket or remanufactured injectors had a black tip. Look for a part number on them.

Replacements are pricey, but you can send yours to a shop that will clean and flow-test them. There are a few mentioned in threads on injector cleaning in this forum.

Unbolt the 2 pairs of injectors & watch them spray fuel on top of the engine onto a red rag to see how they each are spraying. All 4 spray patterns should look similar.

I'm with Mike, before you go spending a bunch of money on injectors pull them out of the manifold and see if they are opening up and spraying fuel. Check the connectors with a multimeter and make sure all of them are working.

A friend of mine had recently went to dual carbs in his square so he gave me his injectors, installed them and the fastback is good to go. Has plenty of power and with no hiccups. Thanks to those that helped!
