The wife says she won't sleep in the Westy. It smells like homeless people. She's a nurse, she knows.

The solution is to pull a travel trailer. A long, long, trailer.

Hmmmm.. Whatcha doin?

(BTW you can entirely remove the interior and clean/sanitize everything and it will not smell at all. I do this to all my buses. YMMV.)

That smell can go away.

My 86 stank, I didn't even want to touch the upholstery.

A bit of work and a few $$'s but it was glorious when I was finished.

I'd never tow a camper with one of these.go get yourself a giant Surburban if you are going to tow.

One part bleach, four parts water.

This mix killed the bad critter in Alien.

It's really just to mount a bike carrier. But I'm tempted to get a cabin cruiser. Two birds.

You can try and use a OZONE generator to clean/kill mold in the air.
Per google a search
"Can an Ozone Generator Sanitize and Kill Mold. A shock ozone generator can kill mold in the air and on surfaces. However, it takes approximately 1,000 milligrams of ozone per hour (mg/hr) to kill airborne mold spores and surface mold in a typical 100 sq. ft."

So something like this:

It's better now. I think my son and I, living in it for ten days while we drove it back, gave it that lived-in smell. Well us and the beavers.

We've warshed since.

Bleach. The magical cleaning component that has saved many a marriage when men learn to use it. Don’t wash her business clothes in it, though.

working in old houses, i've used a metric tonne of odor killers. by far the BEST is this stuff:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DVFS8NG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

once you're on the road, stash these around in hidden places like under the seats:
