My right front turn signal light comes on when I turn on the lights, but it doesn't blink when I hit the turn signal or the hazards. not sure what would cause this, turn signal relay or?

Have you removed the bulb to make sure it has a double contact bulb and not a single contact

It should be the bulb or the contacts for the bulb.

I found another (funny) source of misbehaviour:

the frame that holds the speedo is hold by 4 screws to the car frame...right?

well yesterday I saw that the grounding was very loose on that frame, by fixing it better I got rid of many electrical gremlins I had on the turn signal!

I have the double contact bulb, could it be the turn signal relay?
