I'm sure someone knows, but why won't VW give me the original engine number for my split?

Bummer, guess I'll just find one close enough or just keep the running 53' engine in there! Thanks Everett _________________ 52' Split

Porsche still provides engine number on the COA.
Anyways, getting an engine that is slightly older than the car is the closest you can get. Nothing wrong with running a 53, that's what's in my car. Same case other than serial number and date codes _________________ https://instagram.com/mr.ogpaint

If you provide the engine nr, they confirm that it is the og one or write that it is not that one. They never give you the nr out of the records in the archive. _________________ Zelensis, glassfibre body made in Belgium , disigned and built on a VW platform About 25 body's built.

yes I know we have a thread already, I'm for familiar with the process of requesting the birth certificates; I was just asking Robbie how long it actually took to get his, since he just received it; they always say it will take a certain time, but the times sometimes vary greatly from what they post; for me the last couple I got recently (about a year ago), they only took about two months ...
Thanks Guys. |
