Re-chroming Price

I am going to re-chrome my 2 OE door handles and the T-handle for the engine lid. Anybody done this and how much would one expect to pay for such a process? thanks... Jeff

Lots of variables here like how pitted are the parts. Bottom line is that rechroming costs have really increased due in part to the environmental regulations that the companies must deal with. I had the handles on my '60 done about 6 years ago for $175 CDN. They were fairly pitted but I wanted to keep the original '60 handles with the horizontal key slot. I am sure it would cost more now.

I just had some 56 door handles done. Handles were $80 ea, base $50 ea, tumbler for driver side $50. Last year I had a locking t handle done, was charged $160 for three pieces. This was for a triple plate chrome.
