Next step os getting rid of those cursed poly seats. Searching for Fiero seats on Ebay and ran across these.
What do you tkink?
They're offered in both cloth and "faux leather".

I have been looking at those seats too. They look like a clone of the Corbeau seats I have. Cheap too. But cheap may not last on the material or padding. Was hoping for a good review of them before I pull the clicker finger and buy a set. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class

About half way between a rigid polyurethane seat (which are miserable for me) and a full suspension seat like PRP... IF the padded butt area is sufficient it may be comfortable for you... Only way to tell it to buy them and try them.... Visually its hard to tell how comfortable a seat is going to be... Its after you have had your body planted in seat for several hours and what body tells you ...

I just went with actual Fiero seats. Extremely comfortable, and utilized the headrest speakers. Just need to lift them up a tad so i can scoot them back a bit more. It's a click too far forward than I'd like being 6'1"

I just put PRP roadsters in my ride per reviews here and couldn't be happier.
Mines a daily driver and these are as comfortable as they come.

I have the Corbeau versions and they're comfortable but non adjustable so my wife can't sit in them.

Delivered Friday........first impressions......
Support seems great - lumbar also.
Fit and finish right up there with more expensive seats.
Sliders very solid.
Foam super stiff - that's good for break-in.
Pleather very soft - time will tell how they hold up.
Mounting holes on the sliders 10.5w x 10.75 to 12.5l.
Rear holes will fit the factory drilled in my pan. Fronts will have to be drilled.
Fit in the buggy like a glove and I think they look and sit great.
Know that I'm 5'9" and 200#. The seat foam at the front is 14.5". My son is 6'2" and 265. We'll see what he has to say.
If they last longer than 1/3 of the lifespan of $600 seats I'm ahead.
I think I'm going to mount the sliders directly to the pan - they feel pretty good......if I decide to raise them some I'll just use some square tube iron to bring them up and keep the weight distributed.
One question.........are the sliders supposed to be mounted parallel to the tunnel, or do they angle out toward the wheelwell?

I really like the look of those. I want to hear what your 6 foot, two inch son says about them. His weight to height ratio is similar to mine... |

I have been watching these. Not the same seller, but shipped from the same location, same price, and with the same free shipping.
I think they too would fit the same and have the same finish quality.

Stats installed. I really like them. I would recommend to anyone. They also offer a pleather/fabric option as well as studded like Joe has his eye on.

Nice seats. Any updates? And has anyone looked into all the "racing seats" that are on Ebay? I've been looking at the Racetrim seats. |
