Swivel Ball Adjusters - Keep or Use Something Else?

I habe a set of these sitting on the shelf in my garage because when I was setting up my heads I would have to grind about .060 off the rocker to get them to work. I decide to put the stock adjusters in it since i didn't want to grind a perfectly good set of vw rockers.

but back cutting the rockers is improving them. Which is what we do.
