Would a 2"inch narrow beam, with wheels with the offset of ET25 with 185/65 tires, clear the fenders? The beam would be lowered between 2-3 inches.

It might. Won't know due to other factors. are you getting drop spindles? disc brakes?

This is what I currently have:

2" narrowed adjustable Front beam
2.5" Drop spindles
empi disc brakes
stock 15"x4.5" vw wheels. OEM Offset (sorry idk my offset.)

Front:
185/60R15x4.5"

Rear:
205/60R15x4.5"
(I plan on changing my wheel width to 5.5" but keep the tire size.

right now my driver side front tire rubs the lip of my fender. I need to see if I can raise my adjustable beam up as far as it can go so the drop spindles are the only thing doing the lowering. if I can then I will be good I think. The brakes and spindles have pushed out my wheels so if I got a 3" narrowed I think I would be good. That being said What I am trying to do on my bug is raise the beam, shorten the side wall of the tire (185/55 or 185/50), smaller tread width (175 or 165), and when I get my rims see if I can get the offset adjusted so it pulls my rim/tire inside the fender.

hope this helps
