Rewired my 69 DOKA with a Rebel wire kit ( yes not VW) that has modern fuses etc. ( great product by the way)

Asked a bunch of questions here. Which I guess pissed some people off. But it is all back together and I have dash lights for 1st time since 94. I added Voltmeter, NOS Tach, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, elec washer, separate circuit for blinker Vs 2 filament bulb, new fuel sender, switched LED bed lights, foot activivated High beam switch ( always wanted one of those), aux oil cooling fan. fixed the rattley dash glass and elec fuel pump cutoff

I just need a new radio and a dash mounted rotating fan to be done

took it on shakedown cruise. It all works except... ooops forgot to hookup speedo cable

Rebel wire is a CO out of TN that makes hot rod wiring kits but also has some for VW

look them up

you still have to deal with some of the VW quirks, switches, a dash that is partially grounded and partially powered etc

Thanks for posting the Rebel Wire info, I just ordered a kit to replace the nightmare homemade wiring harness in my 72 Baja Bus.
