Couple years ago, I rented a car to jam down to LA for some parts. Counter guy asks "What are you gonna do in LA?" I say, "I'm on a VW parts run." He replies "Oh my friend down there is restoring a 26 window for Jerry Seinfeld!"  |

I've heard someone say 47 window once.  Although in the Southeast it's more typically called "one uh them with all them windahs in it"
I have a Standard and I hate when people go "I bet you wish it was one with all the windows." No, I'm actually quite happy with my Bus thanks. I don't sit in it and lament what it isn't.

Thanks Ev. Im glad you liked it. The lower rocker blend job actually looks better in person. In photos it stands out more but in person its a bit harder to tell. I buffed it the morning before we left so it was a lot more shiney for the show.

| Great thread! I just read the entire thing after starting in the SWR 15 window thread. I have a original paint turkis 64 deluxe that need all the same repair panels you used. How much did all the new metal cost? |
