AA's new 914 2.0 bare castings. NOT AMC castings. I keep having people ask. This is not a typo. AA had these made. They are exact replicas, besides a couple different features:

Guides holes are the smaller Type 1 diameter on both the intake and exhaust. If you wanted to run the larger stock guide, the head would need to be reamed accordingly.

The breather bossed are tapped, and includes a screw-in barb or plug.

Unfortunately, the plug size is still the 14mm-3/4" reach. Should've been 12mm IMO.

At this time, they are on back order. They should be available again soon. $250 each.

I spoke to the guy that was in charge of this development. He didn't want to make too many changes due to purist complaints. He considered beefing-up certain areas. Regardless of which route you go though, someone will complain.

They have beefed up certain areas to allow for more port work. The incoming shipment will have the changes and it sounded like they were on the boat.
