I am looking for the mounting strap to attach the switch to the steering column. Is anyone aware of someone selling reproductions?

You need to be specific. SWF and Hella were OEM suppliers and their straps are slightly different and not interchangeable, where the part sits in the housing, Hella is wider. Then there were aftermarket switches, for example SWF red knob and I think that strap may differ but I am unsure. There were also other iterations, Bosch red knob used a totally different strap system.

Finally, I am not aware of any repro.

I guess the first step is figuring out which brand I have...

Look for markings on brown "bakelight" part of switch where wire screw terminals are.

PS, I have never had any spare Hella, straps but have found NOS SWF in the past.

I am in Germany, returning home next week. I can help once home with some measurements since I see no marks and assume you have looked and found none.

Correct. I looked all over the unit and could not find any markings. The last photo I posted shows the area where I suspect the marking was located, however, it looks to be somewhat corroded.

On the bright side, the terminals look good and it is functional.

I'm not in a hurry, I appreciate the help so far.
