I can't seem to find much about the rear wheel bearing inner spacer on a beetle. It has a chamfer on the edge and want to make sure how to install them the right way.....this is NOT the outer spacer with 2 bevels. This one's about 1/4" thick............. thanks |

The chamfer goes towards the trans side of the axle because the machined step in the axle where it seats is radiused.
The flat side goes out towards the inner race of the bearing. _________________ -Bruce
