Have my door panel off to replace the witch hats and install some new trim etc., so I thought I would post some photo's of the detail. You can see some various left over fabric used to stop chafing and vibration. Pretty neat.
Door panel shows the level of detail that went into the construction of this simple item. Check the stitches that go through the vinyl and all the way through the door card! I bet nobody does it this way anymore? Would need a serious needle to get through all that. The panel has probably never been off this door. So this is how it looked on the assembly line. 24K mile car.
