New heater channels, wheel wells, seats, seat covers, front apron, pan seals, and all the rubber pads that go between the shell and pan. There might be a bit more too. _________________ '67 Beetle L41

Wow, very impressive for 14 year old! You'll do well in life with that desire and drive.
My son and I started our project 2 years ago, when he was 14. We're in the final stretch now. It has been a time consuming and expensive journey. One he could never have complete on his own despite his drive. The frustration would have been too much. The Beetle is not his daily driver, simply too dangerous and not practical.
You and he are very similar. Except he had me, my labor and my financial assistance. Its been a difficult but rewarding journey.
Sell it entirely or part it out. Save the money or buy ethereum, bitgold or silver. Continue to improve yourself. Education, math, science and any shop classes your school offers. Undercut the landscapers. In other words, ask each home owner how much they pay for mowing and offer to do it for 1/2 price. (my son would buy bulk soda and candy bars on sale and sell to classmates, don't get caught)
Look for part time jobs, particularly next couple of summers, as long as they don't interfere with your education at all.
Revisit your car interests when you are 16 or 17. There are better cars for first time drivers. |

How much do you guys think I could sell it for with all the parts I've got with it? _________________ '67 Beetle L41

Anyone buying it will expect the parts at 1/4 of retail or less, they know you want out and aren't going to pay for your project.
Sage advice above. _________________ .ssS! |
