No there will be a damper in drive direction, but it doesn't fit yet. I'm waiting for an answer from CSP....

Now you can see why I replaced the exhaust cutout. |

I connected the 7-way trailer connector to the wiring harness of the bus.
The connections are besides clamped also soldered.
It is in its place and even functioning!

The central wheel nuts are tightened.
And I started with the electrics, 230V with RCD and 12V with fuse box.

I did some more electrics inside of the bus, the batteries are now being charged.

Finally the engine has been adjusted on the dyno.
And after that I drove the first time ever in our bus.
The smile stays for a while.

I'm glad I can work on our bus again.
I fitted some wooden panels inside and already drilled the mounting holes.

Unfortunately my fuel gauge doesn't function.
I checked everything already; the fuel gauge itself, the voltage, the mass of the tank and the wires, everything is fine.
So what remains is the NOS fuel sender.
Instead of taking the engine and tank out of the bus, I will make an inspection hatch above the tank.
So I measured the exact position of the sender with help of an endoscope.

With grinder first and cutting through with Dremel, I made a hole to reach the fuel tank sender unit.
Everything is ready for mounting again, including protection against rust.

When you turned the key on nada movement?
Is it fixed now? What was wrong? |

So glad to use the new VDO fuel sender after all the work!
Closed the hole again and also mounted the wooden panel at the LH side of the bus.
