If the donor's status is what I think it is, you'd have to jump through some hoops to salvage it back to the road, and then just live with the "revived salvage" title in California.

But even at that, I'd still rather do the mechanial parts swapping any day over cutting, welding and finishing all the stuff you noted on your list. I really hope you can salvage that Chammpo model...I did notice a rotted out battery corner that'll need some love.
