Your Tig welder is awesome. Looks like a robot welded it. Unbelievably straight and consistent welds! |

It's coming along great! Did you buy this bus from Matt in the US? Tony said one of his buddies bought it. _________________ RPM=(MPH*336* (R&P*4th*1.26))/Tire Diameter in inches |

Yes, picked it up from Matt I wished I had bought it back when it was first up for sale but couldn't. Getting there now. |

Carrying on with the repairs under the flipseat arms, the area between the arms and the base plate was full of sand and dirt and had obviously trapped moisture for along time. It was also pretty well hidden under the rubber pedestal mat.

I chased this bus back then as well. Great to see it getting the right treatment now. |

Did yours not have the mounting plate underneath for the arms? If not I would fab one up:

Yes it had the plates and that's the problem the dirt collects between them and the seat pedestal. I think its also because this bus was getting driven around in dusty desert conditions, the rest of it is really nice. |

Cool. Yeah, those plates did not do a good job of keeping moisture and dirt out. The bus was definitely dry otherwise having seen it up close. Glad to see it getting a good going thru. _________________ RPM=(MPH*336* (R&P*4th*1.26))/Tire Diameter in inches
