Hi everyone,

Another question from me. I'm getting ready to pick up my Thing (in another state). I need to tow it back, and I hate to drive with an empty trailer. So, I am thinking about renting a dual axle car trailer from U-haul ?

Would anyone know the width distance between the inside wheels? The U-Haul trailer is not has two ramps and I want to make sure that it will fit.

Thanks in advance for the comments.

Alex from Ohio

I put a 67 bus with a 4" narrow beam on those Uhaul trailers. The 4" beam didn't leave any room for error when driving onto those ramps. You should not have any problems.

It will fit! I used one to haul Our Thing on a state to state move.. no problem.
They have the nice wheel straps as well, much better than the tiny ratchet strap around the bumper, I see all too often in pics.

Driving down to Dallas in a truck and renting a UHaul trailer there is exactly how I got my Thing home.

So, OP, did you get the car? Pics?
