Does anybody know the piece i'm missing on the front doors to make them open quietly? Everytime I open either front door and it hits the stops (two per door) it makes a loud clacking sound. Thanks

The door might be sagging causing a misalignment in the door opening or how the latch engages the striker.

Oops, you're talking about the door check, correct? The door check assembly is held into the door by two screws that can work loose over time causing the mounting point to smack against the door frame, remove the door card & check these screws & spray some chain lube/grease onto the door check components.

9 times out of 10 it's because the pin or the hole in the body is worn. Here's how to fix it, sadly you'll need your Photobucket decoder glasses to view it Crying or Very sad

Pray them with penetrating oil and then. Try lubing them with Garage door lube.
