72-74 Heater Box Rebuild

I am about done with my current engine in my bus and was going to contact Chico to get a rebuilt engine. I was shooting for something with more performance as well. I am guessing that they would stay with the same HEs as I have now (round port). I am going to call them Monday.

I did notice a post a while back but I cant find it on rebuilding HEs. I pulled the best ones I could find apart to have fixed at my friends weld shop. The outside shell is the problem area.

What do you recommend to wrap the inside with? Most of the mesh in there was really bad. What do I need to get?
