have a 69. at low speeds the speedo bounces all over the place. after about 40mph it works perfectly. any hints on a quick fix or should i just live with it.... |

FRom your description it seems at lower speeds the cable binds up and lets loose, Bind up meaning winding up like a spring and letting go. When it lets go of the bind up the speedometer goes faster. Lubricate the cable, may be the easy fix. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.

make sure they are no sharp bends in the cable routing, also could be a dry cable _________________ Rick
