I saw that as well.

Then I made the mistake of watching the followup "Driving a 1974 Karmann Ghia" video. Oy.
We get it, the clutch cable needs adjustment and the shift pattern is uncomfortable to someone accustomed to modern cars. No really, we get it, find your fodder for commentary elsewhere dude! Rolling Eyes

X2.
It looked like a lot of filler on the driverside rocker. The seams have all but disappeared. Too young for bad plastic surgery. Wink

"Why would you make body parts that aren't replaceable, if you get a dent anywhere you're screwed, it's the whole body... you gotta hope it's on the hood or the trunk or the door because if you get a dent anywhere else that's the whole body, how do you take a dent like that out?"

Obviously this genius has not heard of a hammer and dolly

I never thought a Ghia was a bad driving car. Certainly better than most from its era. Good handling and a reasonably comfortable ride.

Of course that is a car that is put together. So many are rusted out that they shake and shudder on anything but a perfectly smooth road.
