Hi there,

Does a 52 barndoor have a tube in the center of the chassis for the shift rod like the later buses? Also, does a barndoor use a shift rod guide on both ends of the shift rod?

Best regards,

Terry

No tube, only one metal bushing up front for the center shift rod:

There is a M-shaped bushing for the front shift rod too.

Thank you Everett. I see there is a supplier in Europe on here that sells them. I will contact and get one.

FWW, check out VW Heritage for the 'shuttlecock' shaped rod bushing as well. Their shipping was cheaper.
