I'm restoring a 71 super vert...There are a few things I can't find.
The cardboard piece that covers trunk/spare tire area...and, on the rear seat there is a masonite board that covers the back of the upright part of the seat...also, there are 2 rails that mount to the frame of this seat to install the rug on this masonite piece
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you for your paitience. |

The original rear seat on my 71 vert does not have the Masonite board and rails you mention. It does have a cardboard board but no rails. Will u post some pics?

Thanx for all the help..
Has anyone seen the plastic heater vents on the floor for sale?..I see them in the catalogs, but the vendors are out of stock..
Know of any salvage yards that might have these?
I'll post pics of the rear seat later in the week.. |

Just be aware that the vents in the front footwell for the vert are different from those in the sedan. |

Not cheap but I got mine at BugCity.com, search for heater vent. The sedan ones don't fit the convertibles. |

Thanx for the tip of Bug City..
You are correct, they are a bit pricey, but they seem to have everything I need so far.
Picked up both vents, and working on my list.
Thanx again! |
