Good 1957 Engine. Hi-performance. Supercharger. Price: $1500
https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=2088141

Opinions?
I'm no expert but wouldn't adding all that stuff and then using a stock single port center intake manifold be super restrictive?
Or would it be fine if the heads were improved?

Looks like something out of the first "Mad Max" movie!

Will it fit under a closed deck lid?

Does it really run? Looks like an art project. I could be totally wrong. My only question is "why"?

I agree with them on the pricing for the engine alone, pretty good if it's a fresh rebuild with quality parts

Seems like a scam to me. Not enough details and a LOT of parts and fab work just to give it away. Hope I'm wrong. A little odd without a video, build specs, etc and a new member at that.

no way this was meant to be used as anything more then art that might actually run.. the way its all bolted together.. it wont bolt to anything.. engine mounts are used to hold everything up. so it must be some kinda art.. and as Art.. I like it.. a lot..

It would if it was on TV, I saw some body slam the hood on a car with a Blown big block Chevy and there was no hole in the hood when it was closed.
