Let's put this to bed, to wit, was it in good shape when you bought it? _________________ ‘84 Westy, 2.1L with Digijet, 5.43 R+P, GT Gears

Update…
The next thing for us was also car related last weekend without a VW or assuan brown to be seen.
This is thanks to Vanaon Nut who shared this ditty on page 1 by Vanilla Pop a local band that is a favorite of me and girl and which has been suspiciously absent from shows around town over the past year +.
That lead me to finding Vanilla Pop calendar http://www.vanillapop.com/ which did not show any public shows and showed them playing this private event fundraiser www.SeeHotCars.com which had me get tickets for the gala..umm.. for valid business networking reasons and girl agreed to be my guest….And she was stunning!!! Professional, conversation with other guests, carried herself gracefully… Amazing. And as you can see by the pictures below she was stunning in other ways. I am enchanted.
More pics of the event can be seen here – https://www.facebook.com/pg/SeeHotCars/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1628411920529301
It is my birthday today and we had a nice lunch and I got a bag of goodies - none are Westy related and I’m OK with that considering what was actually in the bag
This yellow Dino is from my birth year

Hey Vanis13, what is that top car?
