I went through the sticky on tires and wheels and learned a lot. I also posted this on that topic but I am hoping this new guy can get some advice.
1973 Thing bug beam with adjusters not narrowed. Porsche disc brakes front and back. Original Porsche steel disc brake wheels 4 1/2 front 5 1/2 back. Time to order tires. I expect front to drop 2 1/2 with new beam. Back to drop the same with 1 or 2 clicks. Would like to have option to go lower front and back depending on stance. Current tire choice are 195/60R15 front and 215/60R back. Tires will be 1 inch white walls. Going for beach look. Should I go smaller tires? Or will these sizes give me room to go lower? Or are they too big
Thanks for ant advice.
Pete.

I have a similar set-up, but my beam is narrowed by 2in, so that will effect things. However, I am running 6x15 cookie cutters with 145/65/15 tires up front and 185/65/15 on the rear.
