Choke Cable woes - 1949 Standard.

Hi,

Wondered if anyone knew the cable length of the standard 'L' Choke cable? I've had a new cable fitted to my existing original handle as pictured and no matter what I do it does not appear at the exit point of the chassis where the accelerator and clutch cable come out of.

I thought it might be going into the space in the chassis through a rusted tube, but have put a camera in the chassis tunnel and have not seen any evidence of this.

Could it be going back on itself in the tube?

The cable is 100 inches long / 2540 mm approx, which looks long enogh.

I've spent several hours I'll never get back on trying to get it sorted

Any help / advise would be most appreciated.

Run it in from the back forward to see if it some out where you expect.
