For the people that paid the "DELUX" entry, does anybody know what time we can take our cars into the show area for staging on Saturday,
the day before the actual show? I cannot find anything online so someone coming from a long distance would to know ahead of time.

Thanks, Joe

From an email I received from Andy

Treffen participants,

If you are receiving this email, then you have pre-registered for a Deluxe entry for this Sunday's Southern California Vintage VW Treffen. I wanted to go over some last minute details and hopefully address any concerns some of you may have.

Saturday

The Speedwell Rallye will be starting from Wolfsburg West in Corona and ending at Cook's Tire & Tune in Orange. If you wish to enter the Rallye, it's $20 and includes the very sought after Rallye Plate made by Ray Schubert. The first car will leave off the line at 10am, and the drive is approximately 60 miles. If you do not wish to run the Rallye, feel free to stop by Cook's around noon to hang out and grab a Hot Dog.

Saturday early registration will be open at the Phoenix Club from 3pm-6pm. If you wish to check-in early, you will receive your Wolfsburg West goodie bag and have the option to pre-stage your car. All cars are parked by class, and there is no group or club parking. I have attached a picture in this email giving you a "rough" idea on how we will be parking the show. There will be crew onsite to help line you up and park you straight. Please do not move your car once you are parked. The gates will lock at 6pm, and we will have overnight security onsite.

Please remember, there are no trailers allowed inside the Phoenix Club or left in the parking lot. We are very limited on parking, so please make arrangements ahead of time to store your trailer. Also there is no overnight camping allowed at the Phoenix Club as well.

Sunday

The participant gate will open at 6am. Each deluxe entry gets in the driver and one (1) passenger. The passenger must be riding along with you to enter. Any additional passengers will be charged $10 each. Once inside, a crew member in an Orange shirt will direct you where to park based on what model car you are driving. Again this show is parked by class, and there is no "saving spots" or parking with groups.

If you pre-staged your car on Saturday, you will be given a wristband that will get you in Sunday. Please have your wristband on.

If your car is on a trailer, please make sure to unload before you get in line to enter. Also, the Phoenix Club does not allow any outside food or drink, so please leave the coolers at home and use the provided concession stands.

This year we will only be displaying early convertibles inside the festhalle tent at the Treffen. Any "Split Dash" (Oct 52 and earlier) convertible/cabriolet, both Karmann and Hebmuller, will be parking inside the tent. If you are bringing one of these vehicles, please make sure the battery is disconnected and the fuel cap is taped off before entering the tent. We will have blue tape on hand, and crew nearby to help push your car inside the tent. Cars CAN NOT drive inside the tent.

We had just over 130 pre-registered entries as of Sunday, which is the most we've ever had for this event, so we are looking forward to a great show!
