You may be breaking new ground here. I don't remember ever seeing a High Top with a roof rack. Remember to leave room for the solar panels.

I think I would put some angle braces on the legs going front to back,to stop the rack from swaying to and fro.

Good idea. Maybe gusset the corners like you did for the middle cross bars.

5/8, 1/2,1/4 tubing. I am amazed of how light it is. I thought that it was going to be heavier. I put it up there by myself .
