I made the mistake of waiting too long to order shocks and spring for my syncro westy. I have ordered schwenk springs but keep hitting dead ends when it comes to shocks. I was wanting to run either OMEs or Bilstein B6 16" shocks. Anybody have a source out there that I may be missing? I have already been refunded money from 4 different vendors that showed the Bilsteins in stock but actually didnt have stock. Thanks _________________ 85 auto westy w/ EJ22 (sold)

You could look at the Fox shocks, too. _________________ 1988 Caravelle - FB25B - Syncro converted

Read through this thread:

Smallcar apparently has OME's if that's what you're looking for. I got Bilstein B6's from Shocksurplus.com. _________________ Joe T.

Shock surplus has exactly 2 fronts and no rears left, and smallcar is now out of stock of OME. Rock auto was only showing the B6 in the 14” version. A generous member of the forum contacted me and may have a set in storage to sell. If that falls through, I will order the fronts from shock surplus and search out some rears. Thanks for your help. _________________ 85 auto westy w/ EJ22 (sold)

I was confused about 14 vs 16 in on rock autos site. I asked here and the consensus seemed to be there is no difference between them. I ordered the ones listed as 16 on RA site for my 14 and everything fit fine. |
