My '58 Ghia in front of the Tudor House Museum, Southampton, UK. The timber-framed building was built in the late 15th Century, with King John’s Palace, an adjacent Norman house accessible from Tudor House Garden, dating back a further 300 years.

This one is a mile up the road from us. I often wonder what stories these old farm houses would tell if they could!

Rhoads Opera House Fire of 1908 in Boyertown, Pa. 171 people died and this event was the catalyst for major changes in fire safety. The doors inside the building opened inwards trapping the people inside. Laws were changed to make doors open outwards.

There was lots of fog when I headed out this morning so I decided to try to capture some neat pics of The Ghiapet & some old structures. This old house is just outside Zebulon NC.

As I backed away from the house, I realized that the phone was able to capture the image of Mars near the sun also.

So I visited another neat old building. This one on Hwy 97 in Zebulon NC.

This was Muhammad Ali's training camp in Deer Lake Pa from 1972 until he retired. He trained here for some of his well known fights, that being the Rumble in the Jungle with George Foreman, and the Thrilla in Manila with Joe Frazier. It is now owned by Mike Madden who is the son of NFL coach John Madden.

It would be cool to have the ghiapet in the "carport" in this picture. Just don't bump the door on the pillar holding the house up, It would probably fall right down!

Very Happy I thought about it but then I saw just how far the structure was leaning & decided against it.

With the overhang over the front, this was likely a gas station or general store originally.
