Great color choice. Not too many white buggies. Very clean look with the Empi Sprint stars and the cool seats.

Yah. ...nothing about this buggy is lo buck...4 wheel disks, 2180 dual carb engine, fancy wheels and fancy seats ...when you post a picture of your buggy with a GT 500 Cobra in the background, your definition of low buck has a different meaning
Very nice build, I'm glad to see you got your buggy back. ..it's coming together very nice |

Lo buck is a relative term guys, different for everyone. We have a chap elsewhere on this forum who is chaffing about having to pay $50 for what could be an original Manx body.
The important thing is that no matter what perspective you are from - keep on building!
This is a very nice one though to me I preferred the yellow. Just another perspective... |

If you guys have never heard of project creep, maybe you have not built a buggy from the ground up.
Minus engine, I still consider this a lo buck build.
It is looking nice, keep the work going, you are getting there. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class

Thanks to everyone for the kind words about the car... low buck is an inside joke but in all honesty this build is pretty low budget compared to most of the builds on here. I'm just looking to build a simple and fun buggy

Little lax on updates, new KTM 1090R has kept me busy since I picked the bike up in February... but there have been signs of life in the garage.
After returning from the machine shop for balancing, my pile of engine parts has turned into a smaller pile of parts.
I've been waiting for CB to have a sale to offset the weak CDN dollar. This weekend they had the memorial day sale so I ordered a set of fully optioned out panchitos and some CB 1.4 rockers.
Other than push rods I now have everything I need to finish the engine
Lined the pan with a foam type gasket
Got the body bolted to the pan and started fitting the nose. Struggling to decide what I want the dash layout to look like
And that's about it for updates _________________ VW's hate me |

Looking good! If I had one suggestion, it would be to ditch the power pulley idea, especially with a bigger engine. To many potential issues for overheating. |

Thanks... valve covers are CSP. They have 4 alignment tabs and one of the tabs is interfering with my 1.4 rocker arms.... so my bolt on valve covers aren't really bolt on _________________ VW's hate me |
