It blew right by me on Cedar Springs but I think it was orange or bright red.
Wouldn't you know it... when I'm not in mine!

Are they that rare? I'm from a small town in California... Don't see any Ghia's around here, but Dallas? Figured there would be a few on the road. Lots of beetles around here. Saw a fastback coming back from LA and few months ago.

You bet... by the smiles and comments I get that they're a rare bird indeed, even in a city like Dallas.

| Just saw a 1970 convertible this morning as I was dropping my son off to school, we both had jaws dropping, it’s always amazing to see one on the road. I’ve been seeing a few more since we moved to El Paso, some parked, others barreling down the road. |

I never see any Ghias or other type 3's out on the road in Phoenix. It's kind of odd now that I think about it. I do see lots of bugs and bay window buses. I see a split screen bus regularly as well.
