'69 bug. I've got a bunch of stuff that is supposed to bolt behind the trans horn bolts. Does any body know of extra long bolts with a similar neck that would work for this purpose? All the brackets use up the threading room on the bolt. Multiple searches have turned up nada.

Thanks in advance

They are M18x1.5, with a shoulder but I do not remember the length of the stock ones.

You will have to mail order most likely.

There are various lengths and grade bolts available here...

McMaster Carr may also have them but I don't know the length.

What all you you want to attach there? Like a hitch, an under-engine protector???? How much space does that really take up - more than 1/4 inch (6mm) ????

I'll just remind to screw in the big bolts by hand SEVERAL FULL TURNS to reduce chance of crossthreading.
